The sculpture has a balanced relationship with the place and the light of the Green Belt, where it is integrated, emerging from the earth with a powerful iron circle. Artist: Sebastià Miralles Sebastià Miralles (Vinaròs, 1948-València, 2017), This sculptor and teacher graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Barcelona and holds a PhD from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Valencia. He taught in the Department of Sculpture at the Universitat Politècnica de València from 1981 to 2008, developing a widely recognised renovating teaching role. His work has travelled to group exhibitions in Santiago de Chile, Mexico, Brussels, Rome and Tokyo, and he had numerous solo exhibitions. In recent years he promoted the Sala Sebastià Miralles of the Caja Vinaròs Foundation, where he promoted wide-ranging projects. It is also worth mentioning his activity as a poet, with two books published (De los Reflejos and Instante Barato). He has also published several essays related to art and education, such as Tearing the Air, Matter as a Field of Specific Meaning in Contemporary Sculpture and Art and Education Today: A Race Towards Conditioned Freedom.
